You won’t take a single Pilates class without being reminded,

“Exhale & pull your belly button towards your spine!”


It’s like sucking in your tummy for a picture. Oh, come on! I see people/I do it. All. The. Time. 😉


It’s an important exercise. It protects your back. It lays the foundation for all other core exercises. Building core strength could prevent a sore lower back during pregnancy. Or it might improve your golf game.


Sitting at your desk? Exhale and pull your belly towards your spine a few times.
